It was Rafael who opened the scoring with a sensational volley. Ryan Giggs finished it off in the second half with a neat finish.

The resulting corner sees Chris Samba climb highest, but head wide.
64'- Not for the first time today, Adel Taarabt takes a couple of touches, before firing an ill-advised shot on goal. This one is easily blocked by Rio Ferdinand.
Bottom-placed QPR are currently 48 points behind league-leaders Manchester United in the EPL, they've not beaten the Red Devils since New Year's Day in 1992.

62'- Jermaine Jenas weaves past Rio Ferdinand then feeds Zamora who plays a quick pass out to Traore, but the full-back's first touch is horrible. Goal kick.
Wayne Rooney is introduced for Javier Hernandez for the Red Devils, Remy on for Zamora for QPR.
60'- Ashley Young shows great strength and skill to evade a pressuring Jamie Mackie within his own half, clears upfield.
Manchester United are unbeaten in their last 14 Premier League matches and 16 games in all competitions.

QPR not yet out of the game, especially with Robin van Persie having been withdrawn due to injury.

45'- Evra eventually gets up, with plenty of Red Devils protesting the non-decision.

Nothing comes of it though, Patrice Evra is down hurt after the English winger caught him in the face with an inadvertant boot.
