NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Detroit Red Wings went from farcical to fantastic, stopping just short of a fine finish.
In a game they could ill afford to drop as a tough second-half looms, the Wings did a lot of good things but not enough to fully rally, ultimately absorbing a 4-3 loss in overtime against the Nashville Predators on Tuesday at Bridgestone Arena.
