Jays' Minor-Leaguer Loewen Relishes Team Canada Role at WBC

It will be a wonderfully chilling moment in the Valley of the Sun for Adam Loewen when he walks back into Chase Field, March 9, for Canada’s WBC game vs. Mexico. Loewen was the starting pitcher in 2006 for Team Canada in this country’s greatest victory over the U.S. Now he returns as an outfielder, still proudly wearing the maple leaf on his uniform.
