At 6-foot-6 and 275 pounds, Haworth has to be one of the biggest heavyweights to reach the finals of the Naval Academy’s Brigade Boxing Championships. The Annapolis resident was a four-year member of the varsity football team, but never played in a regular season game. He took up boxing eight weeks ago and is one win away from becoming heavyweight champion among the Brigade of Midshipmen.
