Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun reports that Baltimore Ravens center Matt Birk will announce his retirement later today after 15 years in the NFL.
The Ravens sent out a press release late Thursday saying that Birk would be dedicating a community reading center on Friday morning, but that he also would be "making another announcement" that sources close to Birk say will indeed be his retirement.
