Most would agree that LeBron James is the clear MVP leader. The questions, then, become "by how much?" and "can someone else topple him?"

The biggest challengers hail from the Western Conference, with Kevin Durant and Chris Paul making strong cases. The Los Angeles Clippers looked mediocre when CP3 went out with an injury, and Kevin Durant is playing some of the most efficient offensive basketball the league has seen.

It will be hard to catch James, but it's certainly not impossible.
