Illini Promote Bellamy, Reportedly Lose Aide

Illinois' new wide receivers coach knows a lot about catching passes for the Orange and Blue. Mike Bellamy earned first-team All-Big Ten honors as an Illini receiver in 1989 (he also earned second-team All-America honors as a kick returner that season), when he recorded 59 receptions for 927 yards and eight touchdowns. Bellamy went on to be a second-round draft pick of the Philadelphia Eagles in 1990.
