Make no mistake about it, the Elimination Chamber was a statement that the three members of The Shield, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns, are stars.

The menacing tag team stole the show at Elimination Chamber while flashing an insane amount of athleticism and showmanship with an array of fresh moves.

And they did so while earning a stunning victory. The Shield not only scored a win over the all-star team of John Cena, Ryback and Sheamus, but it did so in clean fashion.

There was no interference or disqualifications, just a good old fashioned whoopin'. As a result, the writing is clearly on the wall.

The WWE would not subject three of its biggest stars to this loss if it did not have huge plans for the members of The Shield.

In other words, this event cast The Shield's story arc into overdrive.

So far, this tag team hasn't been about chasing titles, and it has been more about making statements. At some point in the near future this is going to change.

These three guys are going to become fixtures at the top of pay-per-view cards. They all have showstopping power. They will do this as a team and eventually as individuals.

While the majority of the hype in the WWE is currently being hoarded by the old guard with The Rock, John Cena and CM Punk, these guys are laying the foundation for a bright future for themselves and the company.

I expect this group to claim the Tag Team Championship in the near future. This will allow them to perform at a high level, while the previously mentioned old guard milk their rivalries and hype.

When the dust settles on those story lines, these guys will begin to shine as individuals. Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns are the stars of WWE's future.
