Koufax joins Dodgers camp to begin new role with team

Another star checked in to Dodgers' camp Sunday. And, even though he won't be in uniform until Monday's workout, he caused quite a stir.
Legendary left-hander Sandy Koufax arrived at Camelback Ranch and checked in with the team briefly, walking out to one of the practice fields as a group of Dodgers pitchers were working on pickoff drills as Sunday's workout wound down. A buzz quickly spread through the complex as the few hundred fans on hand recognized the Hall of Famer, dressed in a long-sleeved white tee shirt and light pants.
