While the Slam Dunk Contest was winding down and all eyes were on Terrence Ross doing his best Vince Carter impersonation, Jay Pharoah was back to doing his Stephen A. Smith mirroring on Saturday Night Live.

The real Stephen A. missed out on the the initial performance, busy checking out the festivities in Houston like the rest of us, but we got to see his reaction after the fact as he face-palmed the entire time:

Pharoah has been having a banner year at SNL with his impersonation of the famed TV personality, nailing down the mannerisms of one-half of the argumentative First Take duo with everything from his over-pronunciation of Luh-Brawn Jahmess to his increasingly large forehead, on which Pau Gasol and his entire family once vacationed, apparently (according to Pharoah).

Check out the entire clip from SNL's "Weekend Update" here, and get a load of how Stephen A. once shared a very special evening with Steve Nash and Dwight Howard.

The only problem now is that I can't seem to get rid of the image of Stephen A. Smith and Nash sharing an entire plate of spaghetti Lady and the Tramp style.
