Manchester City are interested in snapping up Roma defender Marquinhos in the summer but may face competition from Barcelona according to reports in England.
Roberto Mancini is reported to have travelled to Italy last weekend to watch Marquinhos play in Roma's 3-1 defeat to Sampdoria.
