Kansas 73, Texas 47

The Kansas Jayhawks (21-4, 9-3) cruised to their 21st victory of the season with a blowout win over the Texas Longhorns (11-14, 3-9).

Kansas only scored 28 first half points but they held their opponents to just 15.

It was a game filled with mediocre shooting and turnovers but the Jayhawks sprinted out to a 30-point lead in the middle of the second of half to clinch the victory.

Jeff Withey broke the Big 12 blocks record in the first half and went on to score 15 points, which tied him for the team lead with Travis Releford.

For Texas, only one player reached double figures and that was sophomore Myck Kabongo who ended the game with 11 points.

The Jayhawks will now turn their attention to Oklahoma State on Wednesday while Texas will visit TCU on Tuesday night.
