Jamie Langenbrunner will undergo hip surgery and will be sidelined indefinitely.

The 37-year-old Blues forward met with team doctors after experiencing growing pain in his hip and it was determined that surgery was the only option.

Langenbrunner said that after surgery, he expects to rehab the injury for approximately six months and resume his career after that.
