Brock Lesnar is a one-man blockbuster.  And in an era where talents like his are few and far between, it may seem like he has all the leverage with a company like the WWE.

Yet Brock Lesnar may need the WWE just as much as it needs him. 

With Lesnar no longer collecting paychecks from the UFC, the WWE’s nationalized platform will keep him relevant through television, pay-per-view and social media. 

Lesnar also will be afforded the opportunity to promote brands, such as Jimmy John’s sandwich shop, by adorning the logos on his merchandise. 

At the end of the day, the WWE is a business and nobody understands that more than Brock Lesnar, who has one of the sweetest deals in all of sports and entertainment.  Getting paid millions of dollars to make a handful of shows and wrestle on a very limited basis is something all WWE superstars should aspire to. 

Lesnar may not need the money, but paychecks signed by Vince McMahon surely couldn’t hurt.
