Injured FSU Forward Terrance Shannon to See L.A. Spinal Specialist Monday

TALLAHASSEE -- Florida State may soon have an full prognosis on the neck injury that has kept forward Terrance Shannon out action for nearly a month.

Coach Leonard Hamilton said Friday that Shannon will fly to Los Angeles over the weekend in order to have his neck and back examined by a spinal surgeon who will offer a second opinion on the injury. The junior forward is expected to make the West Coast trip Sunday evening, and will be back late Monday, Hamilton said.
