Delmon Young Appears to Be Headed for the DL to Start Season

Phillies outfielder Delmon Young had microfracture surgery on his ankle in November, and it doesn't sound like he's going to be on the opening day roster. General manager Ruben Amaro Jr. has told reporters Young is behind schedule and might not be ready to join the club until mid-March, which is only a few weeks before the regular season begins.
