Alright i am a little bothered by this.

The United States is the home of LOTS of history. A young country with a rich past-time that includes baseball. Whether or not it has lost it's title of "America's Sport" to football is another question for another day.

Baseball has remained one of the United States' most prized sports for many decades now. There is a rich history of some great names and players dating back to the World Wars. And now we are going as far as starting Opening Day in Japan?

Come on now. This is supposed to be OUR league, OUR sport.

I have no problem with playing games in Japan once a year, but let's not start the season over there. It's like we're giving up what we love to another country.

I absolutely love Opening Day. I love the fact that the season is getting back in gear, that we have lots to look forward to, such as whose pitching staff will hold up? Who has strong enough bat's to go the distance? Who will we see in the post-season?

Let's face it. No matter how terrible your team might be, opening day gives us all hope because we start out with the same record.

KEEP BASEBALL IN THE STATES! ESPECIALLY ON OPENING DAY!
