The Thursday, Feb. 14, edition of TNA Impact! Wrestling began with a video package focusing on the Garett Bischoff and Wes Brisco heel turn as a result of the pair joining Aces and Eights.

Impact! Wrestling, which was aired from London, England, at the Wembley Arena, opened with Hulk Hogan coming to the ring. Hogan, who received a tremendous reaction from the large audience in attendance, hyped what was to come on the show. He announced four major matches that would help him determine who will face Jeff Hardy at the Lockdown pay-per-view for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.

Hogan began to address Aces and Eights and introduced Sting to the ring. Sting, who was selected by Hogan to lead TNA against Aces and Eights, accepted the group's challenge to battle the company at Lockdown. "The Icon" told Aces and Eights that he will select three wrestlers on the TNA roster to take on the heel faction.

Match No. 1: Christopher Daniels vs. Magnus

Your winner via pinfall: Magnus. This was a strong opening match, as Magnus is beginning to receive a solid push by TNA. Both Magnus and Daniels showed lots of good chemistry and could make for a future entertaining match. It seemed predictable Magnus would win this match because of the large hometown support.

Match Rating: 3.5/5.

Match No. 2: Samoa Joe vs. Kurt Angle

This was a no-contest match. Brisco and Bischoff came into the ring and attacked Angle and Joe. However, Angle and Joe were able to force the new members of Aces and Eights outside the ring. It was a solid follow-up match, as both wrestlers have had some terrific matches against each other in the past.

Match Rating: 3/5.

Match No. 3: Party Marty and The Blossom Twins vs. Jesse, Tara and Gail Kim

Your winners via pinfall: Jesse, Tara and Gail Kim. This was a strong tag team match, as the TNA British Boot Camp stars looked impressive for the most part. The Blossom Twins have plenty of potential to really help boost the Knockouts division.

Marty also looked good in this match, especially after taking a major of leap of faith by nearly injuring himself by jumping through the ropes and landing on the metal guardrail.

Match Rating: 3/5.

Brooke Hogan then came out to the entrance way and announced that Tara will defend the Knockouts title against Kim, Miss Tessmacher and Velvet Sky next week on Impact! Wrestling.

Match No. 4: Rob Van Dam vs. James Storm

Your winner via pin fall: James Storm. Storm is finally back in the title picture after defeating Van Dam in this match. It was an entertaining battle that was enjoyable to watch with plenty of good action in the ring.

Match Rating: 3.5/5.

Match No. 5: Bobby Roode vs. Austin Aries

During the match, Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez came out to the entrance way. Roode and Aries stepped outside the ring and both got counted out. TNA took a decent approach to have both wrestlers be counted out instead of featuring a winner.

Match Rating: 3.5/5.

After the main event match, Hogan walked toward the ring to make his announcement. As Hogan was about to pick the No. 1 contender, members of Aces and Eights surrounded the ring. Bully Ray, who limped to the ring, came out to help Hogan. Sting arrived next with two black baseball bats. Aces and Eights stepped back as Impact! Wrestling ended.
