International Prospects Who Will Take the MLB by Storm
The majority of Major League Baseball’s top prospects arrived via the draft, but teams don’t have to stick to the draft to acquire quality youngsters. They can sign them off the street if they want.
The only catch is that these streets can’t be in America.
International prospects come from all over, and there’s an abundance of them working their way towards the major leagues as we speak. Baseball fans should keep an eye out for the next Miguel Cabrera, Felix Hernandez or Robinson Cano, all three of whom were signed as amateur free agents once upon a time.
Myself and B/R Pop Culture Lead Writer Gabe Zaldivar got together to discuss international prospects who we think are the best in the business down on the farm. As usual, our ramblings were caught on video.
