It's a vision impossible to erase: Ryan Howard plopped on a stool fielding ground balls during spring training. Then there was the damning news that Chase Utley and his unpredictable knees wouldn't be ready for Opening Day — again. A year later, the stool is tucked away in a closet as Howard stands on his own two legs at first base. And Utley is showing no signs of being hampered by the wobbly knees that have kept him out of the last two spring trainings.
