Rutgers athletic director Tim Pernetti said he fully supports the Big Ten’s decision to stop scheduling Football Championship Subdivision teams in the future, calling the move by the Scarlet Knights’ new conference home a "progressive step."

Big Ten athletic directors agreed to put an end to the generally lopsided games against FCS opponents by either 2015 or 2016 after meeting on Sunday and Monday in Chicago.
