Play a little smarter.

That’s the main objective University of Louisville coach Rick Pitino has for his team after Saturday’s five-overtime loss to Notre Dame.

It has become a trend for the No. 12 Cardinals (19-5, 7-4 Big East) in their losses to grab a lead and squander it with mistakes down the stretch. That scenario was repeated over and over and over and over and over against the Irish.
