The audible rapid-fire click of cameras came in frenetic spurts, capturing every movement and each expression made by Daisuke Matsuzaka on Wednesday morning. By Cleveland standards, this was an event. For the pitcher, it was the norm.

Still, it was nothing compared to his first exposure to the Major Leagues.

"His first spring I saw him, that wasn't even fair," Indians manager Terry Francona said. "I mean, every time he picked up a ball, man, it was like, 'Poor guy.'"
