LOS ANGELES – Of all the statistical measures of how quickly and completely the Clippers rushed toward a blowout, and there were many, the clearer picture might have come when the second quarter began with every Los Angeles starter on the bench.

This is nothing new for Clippers coach Vinny Del Negro, whose reserves are second in the NBA in scoring. But when they took the floor en masse to start the second quarter, it already looked as if he was clearing the bench before the inevitable rout got too far out of hand.
