NEW YORK—The Raptors are being slowly pulled out from underneath coach Dwane Casey. It’s beginning to annoy him. Reflecting on a big win against Denver on Tuesday, Casey found himself dwelling on the manner in which it was won. “That was terrible,” Casey said. “Any time you give up 70 points in the paint is bad. It’s pathetic, really. . . . We can’t take a step back defensively. We’re scoring more easily with Rudy (Gay) in, but we can’t have a “let’s outscore everybody” mentality. You can’t win in the NBA with that mentality.”
