HARTFORD, Conn. — The 13,000 plus fans the XL Center in Hartford stood up with a little over a minute to go and started to clap and cheer.They didn’t sit down and didn’t head to the exits early as is custom.The crowd was savoring this one, and the ovation was for many different things.The first was for the performance of the UConn Huskies men’s basketball team. The undermanned Huskies were on their way to beating No. 6 Syracuse 66-58.
