Question: Is the SEC a great football conference?

Answer: No...the University of Florida and Louisiana State University have great football programs.

When you discuss college football, you should always talk about staying power.

Here's another question. How many championships has Florida won?

Answer: Three. All this decade. That makes them a great team in the 2000's.

Now let's talk staying power.

Question: How many championships has the University of Oklahoma won?

Answer: Seven. Three in the 1950's, to include a back-to-back championship; two in the 1970's, which includes back-to-back championships'; one in the 1980's; and one in the 2000's, to include participating in four out of nine championship games this decade.

Now that STAYING POWER...Most schools compete each year to win their division or conference. OU legitimately plays for championships every year!
