Toronto Raptors forward Landry Fields just did what seemed impossible when we first heard the news—he scored model Elaine Alden, and he's done it for life.
Having dated the model for some time now, Fields is believed to have proposed to Alden on the day before Valentines Day (cute much?) in a photo booth, following comments that the gorgeous blonde posted on her Twitter and Instagram account.
Fields himself first posted the news on his Twitter account:
But after that, it was all Alden, who showed us pictures of the ring, their excitement immediately afterwards as well as how the proposal went down.Couldn't be happier!! Marrying the woman of my dreams!! God is SO good! :D

— Elaine Alden (@elainealden) February 13, 2013Our thing is to take photo booth pictures wherever we travel...so I went downstairs at lunch to use the restroom, saw this...he met me, we took these pictures. Once we finished I went to go grab the picture and it turned out to be the "Will you marry me" photostrip! I turned around completely shocked and he was on one knee ;) the best!!!!!

The news comes as exciting news for the pair, but perhaps especially Fields, whose stat-line of five points, less than five rebounds and less than two assists per game aren't exactly what anyone would ever call "dominant."In so happy to announce my engagement to the man of my dreams!!! He is suh an incredible human being an… instagr.am/p/VryAd3nfeT/

Yet now, with the girl of his dreams planned to become his wife, you'd have to still say that 2013 has been a pretty big win for the Raptors forward.
Expect to hear and see plenty more of the pair, as Fields seemingly secures her place in NBA WAG (wives and girlfriend) history forever with the proposal.
Sure, there's something nice about the fact that the scrub Fields gets the gorgeous women—that the nerd who went to Stanford ends up with the full-time model—but at the end of the day, Alden is the story that people are writing about now, not Fields.
Even if the forward is starting tonight.
Still in shock! Thank you for all the kind words! Now I have to our myself together for tonight's game!! My FIANCÉ is starting! Knicks/Raps
