Toronto Raptors star Landry Fields has some news he is happy to share with you Twitter followers. He is engaged to his beautiful model girlfriend, Elaine Alden. 

Here are a few tweets from the model who has appeared in such publications as MAXIM, GQ and Sports Illustrated. 

You can almost hear the screams of joy through the tweets. 

The Instagram picture features a rock big enough for Sean Connery to break into while being helped by Nic Cage.

There was even this adorable hipster moment of the two in a photo booth.

And, of course, Fields had to return the favor and throw a tweet out to his future wife. 

If we are time-stamping this still young romance, the two have been dating since roughly June of last year. 

On July 22, Hot Clicks' Jimmy Traina posted a breaking WAG news story that the two were officially dating. As far as celebrity relationships are concerned, this is pretty par for the course.

Sure, less than a year may not be enough for most people to consider taking the giant leap into nuptials, but models and NBA players can't be bothered with such worries. 

Now you can attribute the pep in Fields' step for Wednesday's game against the Knicks to the big news and not that he is playing his former team. 

The Raptors forward comes into Wednesday's game averaging 23 minutes, five points and 4.8 rebounds per game. 

It may not be the stuff of legend, but the man is marrying a model. Give him a little extra credit in the stat line from here on out.
