Brewers 6
Giants 10

W: J. Martinez (1-0)
L: J. Suppan (0-1)

The Giants bullpen helped to them to pull off the win at San Francisco. Joe Martinez came in to relieve Tim Lincecum in the fourth. Lincecum did not have a great game. He pitched three innings and gave up three runs, but did strikeout five batters.

Martinez pitched two innings, let up two runs, and got the decision.

If it were not for homers by Aaron Rowand, Bengie Molina, and Randy Winn, the Giants would not have won this game.

Aaron Rowand was 2-for-3 with three RBI. First baseman Travis Ishikawa also had three RBI along with a triple.

Contributing runs for Milwaukee was pitcher Jeff Suppan, Rickie Weeks, Mike Cameron, Prince Fielder, and Bill Hall.

Suppan got the loss. He pitched through four innings and gave up six runs on six hits.
