TNA Wrestling presents another new episode of Impact Wrestling this week, and this one is huge!

Set up for this week are four big matches, which will ultimately determine the No. 1 contender for Jeff Hardy’s TNA World Heavyweight Championship at Lockdown next month. Also scheduled is at least one more match, while more news from Lockdown is also promised.

Here’s what TNA Wrestling has in store for the fans this week!

Gail Kim, Tara and Jessie Godderz vs. The Blossom Twins and Marty Scurll

Last week on Impact Wrestling, British Boot Camp winner Rockstar Spud made his TNA debut. He was being interviewed by Jeremy Borash, but his spotlight was stolen by Robbie E and Rob Terry.

After Robbie bashed the United Kingdom, UK wrestler Rob Terry ducked so that Rockstar could land a shot on Robbie’s jaw. Rockstar Spud wasn’t the only British Boot Camp contestant, though.

The show also saw Hannah and Holly Blossom, better known as the Blossom Twins, and Marty Scurll compete for a TNA contract. Despite not winning the contest, all three of them will be getting the opportunity to wrestle this week against members of the TNA roster.

Can the Blossom Twins and Marty Scurll defeat the TNA stars? If they can, could a victory on TNA’s main show be enough to get a contract? Will Gail Kim, Tara and Jessie Godderz eliminate them from TNA?

The Challenge is Made: Lethal Lockdown Set to Return

Lethal Lockdown has been a tradition at the Lockdown event since its creation. Typically featuring two five-man teams, the match was designed to settle the score once and for all.

Laid out similar to WCW War Games, two wrestlers from each team start in the ring. A coin toss determines which team will have the advantage, and every couple of minutes another wrestler will appear. Once all 10 are in the ring, a roof is lowered with weapons attached, and it's first fall to a finish.

Via Twitter, the Aces & Eights challenged Hulk Hogan to Lethal Lockdown this year. They want him to choose the best TNA has to offer and vows to beat that team. The Aces & Eights may have backed themselves into a corner, though, as once inside Lethal Lockdown, there is no getting out until the bell rings.

Who will Hulk Hogan choose to face the Aces & Eights? Could this be the end of the biker gang, or can they finally take down TNA Wrestling?

An Eight-Man Tournament to Determine Jeff Hardy’s Lockdown Challenger

Jeff Hardy reached the top at Bound for Glory in October after hitting rock bottom in March 2011. He pulled himself together and is now the holder of the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Hardy has been champion since then, but it was a hard-fought battle to keep the belt.

The Charismatic Enigma has defeated Austin Aries in a Ladder match, Bobby Roode one-on-one, both of them in a Triple Threat match, and Christopher Daniels a couple of weeks ago. He has faced some tough challenges, but his toughest will be coming in March at Lockdown inside the steel cage.

Just under a month away from the annual event, Hardy does not know who his challenger is going to be. TNA will solve that issue starting this week. General manager Hulk Hogan has set up an eight-man tournament to determine the No. 1 contender for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. The matches are as follows:

  • Kurt Angle vs. Samoa Joe
  • Christopher Daniels vs. Magnus
  • Austin Aries vs. Bobby Roode
  • James Storm vs. Rob Van Dam

Four big matches, but all four come with some issues. Both Angle and Samoa Joe will have to look over their shoulders for the Aces & Eights, Magnus will have to keep an eye on Kazarian, Rob Van Dam has been having problems with Kenny King, and Aries and Roode just won the TNA World Tag Team Championship last week.

Despite what may be going on with certain wrestlers, who will advance to the finals of the tournament? Is this a one-night tournament, or will the finals be held next week?

Expect more news in terms of the big Lockdown event. Which feuds will come to a head? Who will have to defend their titles? What will happen inside the traditional Lethal Lockdown?

This episode is shaping up to be a huge one. How will things go on the journey to Lockdown? Tune in to find out!
