We knew that the Michael Bourn signing improved Cleveland's outfield defense, but now comes reason to believe it's really going to be a quality unit. Regard: This, of course, means that Nick Swisher is going to be installed as the regular first baseman. That also means that, if manager Terry Francona is so inclined, he could cobble together a pretty solid DH platoon, what with Mark Reynolds and Jason Giambi on the roster.
