Michelle Jenneke Is Smart Choice for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue
The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue is a great way to balance sports with beauty, which is exactly what readers love about it.
That is why placing Michelle Jenneke in the swimsuit edition is a great move (TheAustralian.com).
Jenneke is an Australian hurdler that finished third in the 100-meter hurdles at the 2011 Australian Championships and fifth at the 2012 World Junior Championships in Athletics.
In addition to those mildly impressive athletic accomplishments, Jenneke is quite the attractive young woman. She's only 19 years old, but her beauty, sex appeal and charming personality are just as responsible for her appearance in the magazine as anything else.
She received tons of publicity for her pre-race dance routine at the 2012 World Junior Championships. The video has become wildly popular on YouTube.
This new YouTube video featuring Jenneke is likely next up for online supremacy. It's actually from the Sports Illustrated photo shoot, and yes, they make her do the dance.
Which athlete are you most excited to see?
Because there is a "teen" in her age and the events she's famous for competing in are junior events, I can't bring myself to take as much enjoyment in her appearance in a swimsuit, but those that are closer to 19 should feel free.
Kate Upton is on the cover and other super models will obviously appear in this year's magazine, but Jenneke and three other athletes will help to spice things up.
The Australian will be accompanied by U.S. surfer Alana Blanchard and Dutch field hockey stars Ellen Hoog and Eva de Goede.
Of the four, Hoog is my favorite. I have never seen any hockey player look so attractive, and she's a more comfortable 26 years old.
But it is easy to see why Jenneke's addition is creating attention. The 2013 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue will be released on Tuesday.
