Kentucky guard Jodie Meeks will test the waters of the NBA by submitting his name for the upcoming draft, however, he will not be hiring an agent.

Meeks averaged 23.7 points last season, including a school-record 54 points in a win against Tennessee. Memphis coach John Calipari said, "You had to watch the Tennessee stuff, because he was out of his mind.”

Meeks will gauge interest from the NBA while retaining his right to return to school. Meeks will have until June 15 to remove his name from the draft and retain his final year of eligibility.
