Will the Lions Achieve Perfection...Again?

Andrew BakerContributor IApril 8, 2009

After the worst season any NFL team has ever had, speculation has started about the Detroit Lions' next season.

Will they flirt with perfection again? Or maybe they will pull a Miami Dolphins and somehow make the playoffs?

Either way, the spotlight will shine on the Lions.

I'm less concerned with the fact that the Lions have nowhere else to go but up, and more concerned with the mental state of the team that loses to the Lions next. How do you give your team a pep talk when you have just lost to one of the worst, if not the worst, franchises in NFL history?

But if you ask me, there is nothing for non-division teams to worry about, because I do believe that the Detroit Lions will once again flirt with perfection, only to defeat one of their division rivals.

However, I do want to know what all of you out there think, so please leave your feedback.
