Despite missing three key players, the San Antonio Spurs rolled over the Chicago Bulls on Monday night at United Center, 103-89.
The Bulls got off to a 24-20 lead after one quarter, but the Spurs stormed back, going on a 31-18 run to end the first half with a 51-42 advantage. San Antonio outscored Chicago in the fourth quarter, 27-18, to put the game away.
The Spurs shot 52 percent from the field (including 8-of-16 from downtown) and took care of the ball, which hid the fact that they were out-rebounded by a landslide (49-26). Chicago had a whopping 17 offensive rebounds in the game, but also posted 19 turnovers, which San Antonio converted into 29 points.
