Most Dominant Pitches in Major League Baseball

They are the destructors of dreams. The breakers of bats. The keepers of zeroes.

They are dominant pitchers, and they are everywhere in Major League Baseball.

But no two dominant pitchers are the same. Some of them dominate with hard fastballs. Others with fastballs that move. Some do the job with slow stuff, such as a vanishing changeup or a very cranky Uncle Charlie. There’s a certain Cy Young winner out there who dominates with a pitch nobody else can throw.

Myself and B/R Pop Culture Lead Writer Gabe Zaldivar got together to talk about pitchers who throw baseball’s nastiest pitches. We each gave our picks for the nastiest fastball, the nastiest changeup, the nastiest curveball, the nastiest slider and, ultimately, the nastiest pitch of all. As usual, our ramblings were caught on video.
