How the Charlotte Bobcats put an end to the Boston Celtics' win streak.
Byron Mullens' Big Day
Since returning to the Bobcats' lineup, Byron Mullens has played excellently. However, he hadn't done anything close to what he did to the Boston Celtics tonight.
Mullens finished with 25 points and 18 rebounds, despite not being a major factor in the fourth quarter. He had 12 points in the Bobcats' monstrous third quarter, that gave them the lead they would take to the finish.
Mullens shot 10-of-16 from the field and hit four of his five three pointers. He added four assists, and five of those rebounds were offensive. He took full advantage of the Celtics' tired legs in forcing them to chase him around.
Boston's Tired Legs
Speaking of those tired legs, they really showed up in the fourth quarter for Boston.
The Celtics were unable to score a point in the final 2:13 of the game. Following Kevin Garnett's brilliant turn-around to make it 91-87, the Celtics were 0-of-6 to close out the game.

All six of those shots came from 18-feet or further, as the Celtics were too beat to get to the rim. On the final possession, with chances to tie the game up and send it to overtime, both Paul Pierce and Avery Bradley were short on three-point attempts. Bradley and Pierce combined to play 100 minutes last night against the Denver Nuggets.
Ramon Sessions > Avery Bradley
In back-to-back instances, both the Celtics and Bobcats had the exact same opportunity at an open shot to take hold of the game, with just under 40 seconds remaining.
Avery Bradley bricked an open 18-footer, before Ramon Sessions sank the same shot at the other end. Sessions' jumper gave the Bobcats a 92-91 lead that they would not surrender.
Furthering the differences between the two guards' skill-sets, Bradley was 4-of-11 in the game for eight points. Sessions hit 6-of-11, and scored 19 points.

I believe Paul Pierce just stole the ball with his belly. Literally.

Despite that last turnover by Ramon Sessions, this game has been played very cleanly. Only 10 turnovers a piece for each team.

Boston 70, Charlotte 75 - :12 Remaining in Second Quarter
Leandro Barbosa is down and not getting up. Looked like a no-contact, leg injury. That is sometimes the most dangerous kind.
Barbosa was 1-of-6 tonight, for three points. He tallied three assists as well.
He's going to be helped off the floor, but isn't putting any weight on the leg at all. Not a good sign for the Celtics, who are already down Rajon Rondo from their backcourt.
Boston 68, Charlotte 70 - 1:51 Remaining in Second Quarter
With Kevin Garnett's minutes being severely limited, the Celtics cannot find an answer for the varying offense of Byron Mullens.
