Devils center Stephen Gionta had a bit of scare after he lost an edge and slammed hard into the end boards in the Pittsburgh zone just 43 seconds into the second period. Gionta was moving in to pressure Penguins goaltender Tomas Vokoun, who came out to play the puck in the bottom of the right circle, and lost his balance at high speed.
