The Superstar Saga: Monday Night Raw, the Return of The Animal!

Svyato RovenchukSenior Writer IApril 7, 2009

This chapter of the saga is dedicated to the return of Batista!

The Script

Last Monday Night Raw. Legacy was picking apart Triple H in the ring just when, bam, Batista's music hit. The return of the Animal is what we're witnessing. Batista came in the ring and gave a spear to Orton. He then clotheslined Ted Dibiase and Cody Rhodes.

Then, he cleared the ring of Dibiase, Orton followed(leaving on his own), and he began the punishment to Cody. He gave him a spinebuster, and then followed up with a Batista bomb. This, in my opinion, was a great script for the WWE writers (for once).

And then Mr. McMahon announced that he couldn't compete at Backlash, so Batista takes his place. This is a better script than they came up with for Mania('cause Mania was just thumbs down).

Batista's Performance

When Batista was in the ring, he looked like The Animal he was in Evolution. Over the years, Batista has been losing popularity because he was getting sloppy in the ring. When he got in the ring on Monday Night Raw, I saw none of that. So you people can't tell me s*** about that being a bad performance. I mean, honestly, Batista looked better than ever.

Nearby Future

Next week, there is the WWE Draft, and all that I know is Triple H is coming to Raw. Batista and Triple H have great chemistry together. Whenever he and Triple H are in the same ring at the same time, Batista is always better on the mic and better in the ring. I honestly can't wait until Backlash to see that six-man tag match. That match is for the WWE title, and obviously, Triple H will retain again (considering Batista's back, they're not going to make Triple H lose). I can't wait to see what they have in store for Batista and Triple H together in the future.
