Celtic vs. Juventus: Champions League Last 16 1st Leg Live Score, Recap
Celtic Park—Scotland, United Kingdom
UEFA Champions League
Celtic 0-3 Juventus
Celtic succumbed to a potentially fatal three-goal deficit at home to reigning Italian champions Juventus on Tuesday night.
The Bhoys were full of endeavour and looked the better side for long periods, but failed to carve out many clear-cut chances.
Efe Ambrose scuffed the only one they made despite some great crossing from the full-backs, while the Old Lady were surprisingly clinical in front of goal.
Mirko Vucinic, Alessandro Matri and Claudio Marchisio scored the goals.
FULL TIME! CELTIC 0-3 JUVENTUS
Thanks for tuning in and joining us for the live commentary.
Plenty of coverage coming up on B/R from me and my colleagues!
90'—Celtic may have conceded one too many to mount a famous comeback in Turin, but have reminded us what a true footballing atmosphere looks and sounds like.
86'—This game will just fizzle out now. The Celtic players look distraught and rightly so—this is a harsh, harsh scoreline.

More on the goal
Ambrose, caught in possession deep in his own half, surrenders the ball and it's rolled into Vucinic's path. Calm finish.

Juventus counter from the corner down the left. Matri receives the ball centrally and flicks it out to Marchisio on the left.
He cuts in and finds the net.
GOAL! JUVENTUS DOUBLE THEIR LEAD!
Yellow cards!
Padoin, Brown into the book. This is getting ridiculous, this corner antic stuff.

Celtic sub!
Commons off, Watt ON.
That's the guy who scored against Barcelona, by the way.
72'—Juve have been trying a corner routine where the ball is fired in low to Vidal on the edge of the box all night. Not once has it worked, and it's a pretty cheap way of losing the ball.
Juventus sub!
Padoin on for Peluso. Is that the 4th or 5th-choice LWB?

66'—BIG CHANCE!
Good possession from Juventus opens things out in the middle and a low cross from left finds Vucinic. He runs onto and shapes to shoot from 18 yards, but Wilson blocks.

62'—GOLDEN CHANCE!
A short corner from Celtic sees Mulgrew deliver a delicious cross. Ambrose has a free header, central, five yards out and nods it straight into Buffon's arms!
Celtic sub
Adam Matthews ON, Mikael Lustig off.

54'—Constant pressure from Celtic as they work the flanks.
Vidal is dropping for Lichtsteiner at RWB to help cover and stop primary threat Izaguirre from crossing as much.
49'—Four minutes in and Juventus are still, for the large part, all over the place. Vidal miscontrols, Peluso mishits a pass.
47'—First chance of the half for Celtic.
Cross fired in from the left and the Bhoys win the header. It's knocked down and Commons meets it but scoops his shot. Buffon collects.
Stu Forster/Getty Images
Juventus may be ahead but hopefully Conte has made some changes. Celtic's 4-3-3 matched up very well against the 3-5-2 and outnumbered the Italians on the flanks.
45'—Second half underway! No changes.
HALF TIME! CELTIC 0-1 JUVENTUS
44'—Great Chance!
Celtic roll a corner across and Forrest's shot, which is potentially goal-bound, hits Ambrose's legs!
BOOKING!
James Forrest sees yellow for a late challenge on Pirlo.
