In some games, Carmelo Anthony can overpower teams with his superior skills on offense. Anthony did that just two days ago against the Minnesota Timberwolves, when he scored 36 points to rescue the Knicks for a much-needed victory. On Sunday, Anthony filled that role for three quarters against the Los Angeles Clippers at Madison Square Garden. Yet when the Knicks needed him most in the final minutes, Anthony was held down by the second-oldest player in the league, Grant Hill.
