There is less than a week until the 2013 Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, and while most of the card has been finalized, there are a few matches that deserve the honor of being on this month’s show.

Huge names like The Miz, Chris Jericho, Antonio Cesaro and Dolph Ziggler are not currently scheduled for a match, but the WWE must do whatever it can to get as many of these stars on the card as possible.

All of the following feuds have been teased over the last several weeks, and each should find a place on this year’s epic Elimination Chamber PPV.

Wade Barrett vs. Bo Dallas

It may be too early in Bo Dallas’ career for the WWE to give the young star the Intercontinental Championship, but the strap isn’t doing much for Wade Barrett. Why not give it to the young kid and give him the rub of being called a champion?

The WWE could easily make this an extended feud between these two men that lasts three PPV matches. After letting Barrett defend his title at Elimination Chamber, have Dallas win the title at WrestleMania 29—creating a huge moment for the young talent—and then retain at Extreme Rules.

Dallas will not only get a huge rub, this would move Barrett away from the IC title and back on the route to a possible shot at the World Heavyweight Championship. This could all start Sunday at Elimination Chamber.

Antonio Cesaro vs. The Miz

One of the feuds that took a backseat to the return of Brock Lesnar was United States Champion Antonio Cesaro and his budding hatred for The Miz. Even with a poorly-executed figure four, The Miz has been unable to get the better of Cesaro.

This month’s Elimination Chamber could be where The Miz will finally be the one to stop the US champion from retaining his title once again. The Miz lost to Cesaro on the Royal Rumble Pre-Show, and this could be his time to shine.

Cesaro has blossomed into one of the best workers in the company, and his gimmick is a throwback to the characters of the ‘80s. The Miz hasn’t been great as a face, but he works as the perfect antithesis of Cesaro in this feud.

Chris Jericho vs. Dolph Ziggler

Chris Jericho is the biggest name not currently on the card that is likely schedule to be there, so the natural battle for the returning veteran would be against his former nemesis Dolph Ziggler.

The company already teased this feud on the Raw following Y2J’s surprise appearance at the Royal Rumble, and the history between these two men makes this an easy match for the casual fans to get behind.

Add in A.J.'s role in Jericho's last departure and this storyline wrote itself.

Ziggler will move on after Elimination Chamber to focus on cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase or defending his title (he could cash-in at EC) and Jericho will move on to something else for WrestleMania, but for this one show they could tear the house down again with a five-star match.

The WWE Universe can only hope.
