Paraguay striker Roque Santa Cruz does not expect to return to parent club Manchester City when his loan deal at Malaga expires at the end of the season.

The 31-year-old joined City from Blackburn in 2009 but failed to establish himself in the first team, instead taking in loan spells back at Rovers, as well as in Spain with Real Betis.
