World Football, EPL, Arsenal

Arsenal went into the game knowing anything but a win would spell the end of their title challenge. At half time, it didn't look remotely good as the score was Bolton 2-0 Arsenal.    Gallas pulled one back out of the blue, as bolton pressed for a third. Van Persie netted a penalty and the complete comeback was in sight. 90th min - it was still 2-2 and up popped Hleb down the side and pulled it back and there was Fabregas. Although, it was a half scuffed shot, it rolled agonisingly across the goal line.

Will this be the turn around the Arsenal faithfull have been waiting for? As a Chelsea fan, i certiantly hope not! I feel it's a little too late but it'll be good if they can mount some sort of revival and come their game at Old Trafford, they can upset the odds. The Man Utd vs Arsenal game doesn't look such a foregone conclusion all of a sudden.

Just wanna point out one thing!                                                                                                            Diaby's tackle on Steinsson was nothing short of horrific. Should he banned for life?     Mr Wenger said  "I feel it was more a protective tackle than an aggressive one but he was too high - I don't complain."

First of all, i must congratulate Wenger. He didn't come out with his usual 'i did not see' garbage. Secondly, based on Wenger's view on suitable punishments for horrific tackles, Diaby should never step out on a football pitch again.

Of course, this isn't, shouldn't and won't be the case.

  1. About that last bit on Wenger, he retracted the comments he made about Martin Taylor of Birmingham after the foul on Eduardo. He also explained it was in the heat of the moment, Chelsea fans don't comprehend things, do they?

    1. I know he did. He wasn't sorry for what he said though. He was sorry for the fact that he said it. He still very much believes in what he first said.
