The No. 5 Kansas Jayhawks (19-4, 7-3) suffered their third consecutive defeat on Saturday night at the Noble Center to Oklahoma (15-7, 6-4).
The Sooners were out in front for most of the game and whenever the visitors tried to come back, the Sooners offense had an answer.
The second half came down to who made the shots in key situations and the Sooners were the team that did that with ease.
A three-pointer by Je'lon Hornbeak with 90 seconds left was the knockout blow dealt by Lon Kruger's Sooners.
The Jayhawks will now return home to Allen Fieldhouse to host Kansas State on Monday night while Oklahoma hosts TCU on Monday in their next Big 12 game.
