Take away a 21-0 Oklahoma City third-quarter run and the Suns still would have taken a double-digit loss Friday night.

The Suns were nothing more than a whisper in Loud City during the second half, when Oklahoma City took a five-point lead to a 31-point win that was the Suns’ worst defeat since the 40-point abomination at Detroit in November.

Losing 127-96 to an Oklahoma City team that overwhelms the Suns with talent and confidence might be slightly more tolerable but the lack of response was not.
