Well I know there's an absolute load of speculative articles going round for the WWE draft this coming Monday, but I thought I'd have my two cents worth.
I've gone for the 10 main picks I'd put on the show, and then added my picks for the supplemental draft at the end, too.
I like to think I've reasoned out each pick fairly and with the year to come in mind, that each pick could be a bonus to the superstar involved, and the show that gets that pick.
I'd love to see Kane go to Smackdown and, after a month or two, team with his brother to have the Brothers of Destruction as the Unified Tag champs.
That would certainly raise the tag titles profile a bit, and whoever was eventually able to win the titles off them would immediately go over as top quality competitors. Priceless, anyone?
Hopefully this could end with Kane in a genuine world title feud too, after years of getting nothing from the WWE.
I don't think there's a doubt in anyone's mind that this will happen. His feud with Orton is too big for the Game not to get drafted to Raw and keep feuding for months to come.
I don't think anyone would argue that Rey hasn't had the best of times since moving to Raw, except his recent IC title win, of course. I think, though, that he should take the IC title with him to Smackdown, where he could pick up where he left off as Smackdown's own Ultimate Underdog.
Smackdown could also use this to make a big deal about the IC title, which has become seemingly a meaningless title with weak championship reigns and no strong champion in a long time.
And to counteract the drafting of the IC title, here comes MVP to Raw with the US Championship.
MVP is long overdue a proper push to a world title competition, and I think Raw is the place for him to get it.
Orton and HHH can feud with the title for a few months, but sooner or later, someone else WILL earn the No. 1 contender position.
Seeing as their feud doesn't necessarily need the title, this could be where someone else takes the title and Orton and HHH leave the title scene for a little while letting in someone like MVP for his shot at the gold.
The same thing as I mentioned in the last slide applies here to the US title, too. Raw could big up the fact they have the historic US title and give it the respect and airtime it deserves as Smackdown does the same with the IC belt.
Now this may not immediately make sense, but for all the posturing the WWE does with Big Show knocking out all the big stars, they still refuse to recognise him as a real title threat. Did anyone really think he'd won the triple threat this Sunday?
Moving him to ECW would allow him to win a "world" title, even if it is barely seen as being on the same level as the IC and US titles.
He could dominate ECW for a while and then help put over someone like Jack Swagger, who, despite being the current ECW champ, needs a bit more seasoning in ECW and also to go over on a big superstar, in my opinion, before he makes the big time.
A lot of people are speculating that Miz and Morrison will be split up in this draft. I'm not one of them.
I'd like to see a triple threat tornado tag with one team from each brand on the show, and Raw to win, gaining two picks, and getting both Miz and Morrison.
They are the most entertaining tag team in years, and could have some great feuds with Priceless and Cryme Tyme on Raw.
They belong on one of the main shows, as they spend most of their time there anyway, and besides, how can you split up the tag team of the year, two-time Slammy Award winning, best tag-team of the 21st century?
I think the Instant Classic could make a big impact on "Smackdown."
He should have won Money in the Bank and carried that over, ideally, but never mind.
Christian's return to the same brand as Edge could lead to some top notch story lines and some amazing wrestling matches, either together or as rivals... especially now Vickie's out of the picture over on Raw.
I'd love to see Christian hitting that world title scene at long last, and a move to Smackdown could be the catalyst for that.
Alright, I'm being a little selfish here, I'm going to the English flagship showing of Raw and I want to see Evan Bourne!
However, there is a real reason for this pick. Evan Bourne is entertaining as hell to watch. Therefore, he should be on one of the two main shows.
I've already given Rey to Smackdown, so Raw gets Bourne. I think he could quickly reach the stage where he's putting on great matches with stars like CM Punk and Kofi Kingston, and I already put Miz and Morrison on Raw as well.
I also think a US title run would do wonders to push him up to regular PPV status.
Firstly I apologise that this would probably lead to a couple of months worth of Edge vs. Cena feuding.
However, this could actually be good with Vickie off the scene over on Raw, and if you add Christian in, we could have a few great months.
Also, the picture I chose is not just random, I want a Cena heel turn. His gimmick is BORING.
Bring back the bad-ass rapper guy and stop forcing him as a super-face and maybe he'll actually get some support outside the creche.
Smackdown is the place for Cena to go now, he gets flat out booed on Raw, whereas on his visits to Smackdown, recently he was almost unanimously cheered. Put him back where he belongs!
Also, the fact I shifted HHH over to feud with Orton, and Cena will not likely lose his title at Backlash, means if Cena stays on Raw, they have both world titles AND Money in the Bank.
Now that would bury Smackdown in a big way.
Regal to ECW (he needs a change, it's just not working on "Raw" anymore);
DH Smith to ECW (it's about time they got this New Generation Hart Foundation started, if they're going to do it);
Jamie Noble to Smackdown (fight with The Kendrick)
Dolph Ziggler to Smackdown (he's got stuck jobbing on Raw);
Chavo Guerrero to Raw (he'll go because of Vickie anyway, why not make it official?);
R-Truth to Raw (his push ended a LONG time ago, and he's been doing nothing much since, bar the singing).
