Who Won the Biggest Big Ten Recruiting Battles?

Adam Kramer@kegsneggsNational College Football Lead WriterFebruary 8, 2013

With national signing day in the books, it's time to reflect on which teams made noise on college football's biggest day.

While it was a relatively quiet cycle for the Big Ten as a whole, that wasn't the case for both Ohio State and Michigan. Urban Meyer and Brady Hoke continued to kill it on the recruiting front, and both were far and away the best of the B1G.

And yes, both were going after similar players in some instances.

Although the Buckeyes and Wolverines stole the show, they weren't the only teams in the Big Ten to come away winners in specific battles for players. Some of the battles went up until that very moment the faxed letter of intent was finally sent in, and the teams on the winning side are certainly glad to be in that spot.
