The Thursday, February 7 edition of TNA Impact! Wrestling opened with Aces and Eights, joined by Garett Bischoff and Wes Brisco, coming to the ring.

Bischoff explained himself first for his actions last week. Briscoe followed up after Bischoff, saying that Hulk Hogan did not answer his phone calls for two years, and he was not willing to start from the bottom.

Backstage, Tara and Jesse begin to complain to Brooke Hogan about their flight to the United Kingdom. Hogan books Tara in a match and bans Jesse from ringside.

Match No. 1: Kenny King vs. Zema Ion vs. Rob Van Dam for the X-Division Championship.

Your winner to retain the TNA X-Division title via pin fall: Rob Van Dam. The X-Division was in full showcase in this opening match, with plenty of high-flying moves, while also gaining an impressive reaction from the audience.

Match Rating: 3.5/5.

A video package aired, highlighting TNA's new boot camp style show in the United Kingdom. After, D-Lo Brown and Bruce Prichard discussed Bischoff and Briscoe's recent heel turn by joining Aces and Eights backstage.

Jesse, who stood in the ring, started to pose to the audience. However, James Storm quickly interrupted him by coming out to the ring. Storm told Jesse nobody cares for his act and asked a referee to come out to the ring to oversee a match between the two wrestlers.

Match No. 2: Jesse vs. James Storm.

Your winner via pin fall: James Storm. Storm was completely dominant in this match, as Jesse struggled to gain any sort of momentum. Unfortunately, it appears Storm's stock price in TNA has dipped quite drastically, as he is now feuding with Jesse and Tara.

Match Rating: 2/5.

Match No. 3: Austin Aries and Bobby Roode vs. Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez for the TNA Tag Team titles.

Your winners via pin fall to become the new TNA Tag Team champions: Austin Aries and Bobby Roode.

Finally, TNA elected to pull the plug on the Guerrero and Hernandez experiment. It will be very interesting to see how Aries and Roode perform as the new TNA Tag-Team champions going forward. Both showed signs of potential late in the match when their teamwork came together in defeating Guerrero and Hernandez.

Match Rating: 3/5.

After being off television for weeks, AJ Styles appeared on Impact! Wrestling in a video package recapping his struggles last year inside and outside the ring.

Match No. 4: Miss Tessmacher vs. Tara.

Your winner via pin fall: Miss Tessmacher. With Jesse not by her side, Tara looked much weaker against Miss Tessmacher. A decent Knockouts match that could have been better with a more competitive edge to it.

Match Rating: 2.5/5.

TNA announcer Jeremy Borash introduced Rockstar Spud, who won the TNA British Boot Camp television series. As Spud was thanking his wrestling fans, Robbie E and Robbie T marched towards the ring. Robbie E began to speak loudly, expressing his frustration with Spud. Robbie T suddenly dropped his clipboard, allowing Spud to knock out Robbie E.

Match No. 5: Devon and DOC vs. Sting and Bully Ray.

Your winners: Sting and Bully Ray. Ray slammed his former tag-team partner, Devon, through a table in the ring to earn the victory.

The audience was absolutely electric throughout this whole match, as they showed their full support for Sting and Ray. This was a pretty good tables match, with Sting and Ray gaining the most offense during the battle.

Match Rating: 4/5.
